SCENT TO YOU started with a simple idea:
Businesses spend a lot of time thinking about how their spaces look — the furniture, the lighting, the colours, the flowers, the coffee, the music.
But scent is often an afterthought.
And when businesses do use fragrance, someone has to remember to buy it, replace it and make sure the diffuser is not sitting empty in a corner.
I thought that could be done differently.

I'm Iris, the founder of SCENT TO YOU.
I live in Amsterdam and have spent much of my career working with businesses, entrepreneurs and growing companies.
What I have always found interesting is how much thought goes into creating the right experience for clients, guests and employees.
A beautiful office can feel completely different from a purely functional one.
A hotel lobby can immediately make you feel welcome.
A salon can feel calm before your appointment has even started.
A meeting room can feel polished and considered before anyone has said a word.
And scent is part of that.
Yet unlike flowers, coffee or office supplies, fragrance is rarely something businesses have organised as a recurring service.
That is where the idea for SCENT TO YOU began.

Buying a reed diffuser is easy.
Remembering to replace it every time it runs out is not particularly difficult either.

I wanted to turn fragrance from a product you occasionally remember to buy into a service that simply happens.
